Previously PG Drives Technology. Prior to our acquisition, by Curtiss-Wright, PG Drives Technology was a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist wheelchair and scooter controllers, for the medical mobility markets globally. Since the acquisition we have formed the Industrial Group and Division totaling $500 million of sales per year. My position within this new division involves; management of the division’s communication strategy, marketing channels, publication initiatives, brand awareness and competitor analysis. With a directive to build and maintain a wide range of marketing material, design and grow the companies online presence, lead generation and customer retention and manage relationships with internal and external sources.

Market Strategy & Planning:
Market analysis and strategy development for each sector of operations.
Delivery of go-to-market initiatives across a broad spectrum of channels.
Delivery: Management of the year on year marketing plan to ensure KPI’s are in line with business needs and to agreed $1,000,000 budget.
Branding & Communication:
Manage communication channels internally and externally to re-enforce the corporate brand, image and vision. Ensuring all material adheres to branding guidelines and meets current strategy objectives. Maintain and utilize the in-house CRM system (Salesforce) to best support the needs of the sales teams.. Deal with PR related activities and deliverables.
Situation: A re-alignment of the go-to-market offering at corporate level, placing our product brands into a new division and group based structure.
Solution: We undertook a complete review of all customer-facing material through our 36 facilities. Built a manageable strategy for change and customer education, whilst maintaining our core market strategy messages. All customer-facing material was brought up to date within the required completion date.
Management of the Divisional suite of websites, including content, imagery and. Ensure content is relevant and accurate across the sites, social media platforms, PR, email campaigns and advertising. Online Analytics and SEO management.
Situation: A historic range of 20 websites in different formats, languages and systems with in excess of 100 domain names.
Solution: I single handedly managed a new suit of websites bringing 15 companies together to form 3 Groups sat within a single division, delivering over 50,000 unique visits per month.
Digital & Print Material:
Translation of complex technical concepts and capabilities into clear market propositions, data sheets and overview brochures. Advert design and campaign management. Management and delivery of all branded goods to distributors and sales teams globally in line with corporate initiatives. Design and management of high value bid proposals.
Situation: Develop a strategy for delivering more product information in a simpler digital medium.
Solution: After researching potential methods of delivery, their costs, effectiveness and ability to be updated… I settled on the solution of an iBook. Initially this was purely for the Exhibition teams, but we are now looking to furnish all sales teams with iPads and distribute to our wider customer audience.
Guide stand design and layouts, generate large format print graphics to support company aims and promotions for exhibitions. Content generation for video displays and wider presentational material for all levels. Assist in the booking, management and deliverables for our calendar of exhibitions.
Situation: Maintain a global presence at events running through-out the year whilst rationalizing costs.
Solution: To ensure the best value for money, combined with a consistent look and feel, we developed a common graphical look, instructed a single supplier and initiated a uniform method of communication with the sales teams.
Guide design and user experience functionality for new products being developed to meet strategic goals. Take ownership of GUI’s graphics and generate specification documentation to support software engineers during program design. Assist in the hardware design stages.
Situation:Development of a new high value controller, containing a larger LCD screen. LTV of product range, $20 million.
Solution: Collaborated with all involved departments to design, specify and create a completely fresh suit of graphics generating a more user friendly environment whilst delivering a high level of information.
Generation and management of overall company design specifications, websites and all media points, brochures, adverts, events, products, LCD user interfaces.
Photography and Illustration:
Management and selection of photographic stock, including purchases and licenses. Generation of graphics and illustrations to support a wide range of company requirements.

The initial brief was to find cost savings for the companies manual creation system and begin a centralisation of marketing collateral. Build and develop an internal team to further strengthen the companies proposition to market. The department maintained the manual and illustration database, designed and created marketing material, generated presentations for the sales teams and built the companies online presence.

I led a small digital team specialising in the production and sale of digital image print products such as exhibition graphics, pop-up stands and full vehicle wraps. Influencing design and specification to suit client requirements, liaising with all concerned to ensure work was completed to schedule and on budget.
